Common questions

My reminders aren't showing up

Check these in order:

  • Notifications allowed: on iPhone, Settings → Notifications → Pilbo, turn on Allow Notifications and Time Sensitive. On Android, Settings → Apps → Pilbo → Notifications, turn them on. On Android 12 or later, also allow Alarms & reminders.
  • Focus or Do Not Disturb: add Pilbo as an allowed app, or let Time Sensitive notifications through.
  • Battery saving (Android): set Pilbo's battery usage to Unrestricted so the system doesn't delay reminders.
  • The medication is active: paused, finished, or "as needed" medications don't send reminders.
  • Open Pilbo once: after a phone restart or time zone change, opening the app reschedules everything.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?

Open Pilbo, go to Settings → Subscription (or open the Premium screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. To bring your medications over to a new phone as well, sign in to Pilbo with the same Apple or Google account you used before.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all your data on our servers. It doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings first. If you can't open the app, email us from the address linked to your Apple or Google sign-in.

How do I change my meal times?

Go to Settings → Meal times and set breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. Every reminder tied to a meal moves automatically. Medications set to a fixed clock time stay where they are.

The AI got a detail wrong

You can edit every field on the review screen before saving, or later from the medication's detail screen. Always check against your prescription. If a photo was hard to read, try again in good light with the label flat and in focus.
