Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Culac Space ("we", "us") for your use of the Pilbo mobile app and website ("Pilbo"). By using Pilbo you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Pilbo.

1. Using Pilbo

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use Pilbo. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you. You can use Pilbo without an account; signing in with Apple or Google is optional and adds backup and sync.

2. Medical disclaimer in full

• Pilbo helps you remember doses you and your healthcare provider have already decided on. It does not check drug interactions, allergies, or whether a dose is right for you.
• Medication details read by AI from your text, voice or photos are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting them before saving.
• Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings, battery saving, do-not-disturb, time zone and operating system. We cannot guarantee every reminder will be delivered or on time. Do not rely on Pilbo as your only way to remember critical medication.
• Nothing in Pilbo replaces professional medical advice. If you have questions about your medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

3. Subscriptions

• Plans. Pilbo is free to use. Pilbo Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase (or when a free trial ends).
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your device's store settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your Pilbo account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases.
• Restoring. Use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen to restore Premium on a new device signed in to the same store account.
• Free plan limits. The free plan includes 5 AI scans per calendar month. We may change features or limits of the free and Premium plans; changes to a paid plan will not reduce what you have already paid for during the current period.

4. Apple App Store

If you downloaded Pilbo from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies in addition to these terms. If they conflict, the Standard EULA governs your licence to the app. Apple is not responsible for Pilbo or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If you got Pilbo from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Pilbo for anything unlawful, or to enter information about another person without their permission (a carer acting for someone they look after is fine);
• upload content that isn't related to adding a medication, or that is offensive, or that you don't have the right to share;
• try to access other users' data, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with Pilbo or its servers, or get around limits such as the monthly AI scan allowance;
• use automated means to access Pilbo, or resell or copy it.

We may suspend or close access for accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content and our app

Your medication data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Pilbo for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Pilbo, its name, logo, design and software belong to Culac Space. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.

7. Availability

We work to keep Pilbo running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Features that need the internet (AI entry, backup, sync) may sometimes be unavailable. We may update, change or stop parts of Pilbo.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Culac Space is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from missed, late or incorrect reminders, incorrect AI-extracted information, or decisions about your health made using Pilbo. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pilbo is limited to the amount you paid us for Pilbo in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

9. Ending

You can stop using Pilbo at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may end these terms or your access if you seriously or repeatedly break them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Pilbo after that, the new terms apply.
